The award winning Sleep Sheep On the Go from Cloud B has become our mini super hero.....and has made our Must Have list. It may work a little differently for everyone, but here are its super hero powers for us:
- It is sleek and small, able to be mobile at a moment's notice. It can dangle from a car seat with included Velcro strap (carseat pictured with the ultra soft My Blankee car seat cover) or the sheep on the go can jump into or over your co-sleeper in a single bound. And, we always remember to grab it and go by including it in our Posh Baby diaper bag.
- The sleep sheep casts its baby sleep spell with an intelligent timer that plays just long enough to be effective (a 23 or 45 minute setting option) while also saving the battery for many, many, many more plays.
- Then there are the sleep sheep sounds...which slowly sooth baby into a gentle sleep.....
Our 3 week old daughter has suddenly discovered its magical sounds. At first she didn't know what the sheep was doing (obviously, right?) It would usually take 5 minutes or so and then maybe it would work. But after several times of repeating the Sleep Sheep....it soon became so effective that it takes less than a minute for its powers to work.
Her favorite magical sound is the ocean waves (there are also the sounds of rain, whales and a running stream). As soon as we turn the sleep sheep on, the ocean waves sound comes crashing up onto the sand and then recedes, only to repeat again....it takes 15 seconds now, when our daughter realizes that the spell has been cast. She quickly goes into the "sleep zone"...settling and then, yes, sleeping!
Funny enough; when we use it at night.....we all are now cast under a spell...with the waves enchanting us all to go to sleep!
We are now the proud owners of two mini sleep sheep for on-the-go and out-and-about. We have also bought the sleep sheep's full-size big brother for the bedroom:)
Sweet dreams....
